The Dave Matthews Band played amongst a red sea of mostly Alabama Crimson Tide and Oklahoma Sooner football fanatics. It was an epic show and night in which Dave Matthews and his legendary band did what they do best: perfect rhythm and flow of multi-genre setlist with outstanding musical quality.
The setlist, a bit shorter than their usual summer concert setlists, had all the major hits including plenty of sing-a-longs and fantastic jam sessions that had the beach buzzing. Unlike bands with elaborate live setups like U2, Depeche Mode and others, Dave Matthew is all about simplicity and giving you the best, jazz, blues, and well-paced rock and roll you could ask for. And as it turns out after a blowout of a college football semi-final (Alabama won by the way), this was the highlight of the college football weekend in South Florida.
